How to move from another provider who require you to move line

Is there a way to move the phone line over to UNO first before the FTTC as current ISP policy states the following :- Phone lines and Broadband services

The notices are independent for the broadband aspect and the telephone line / copper pair we provide. Bear in mind that we do not do phone line only, and so migrating broadband away whilst we provide the copper pair will result it in being ceased, and hence the broadband will stop working (even with the new provider). So if migrating broadband you also need to migrate the copper pair.

This would mean losing my phone line and broadband which I need for work

Thanks

Essentially, there isn't.

However, as soon as you get the email from us to confirm your fibre order is completed, just raise the request via your portal for sales and the line order can be placed.

This will ensure the line is safe and cannot be cancelled by the losing provider unless you give your authority for them to do so.

Hi Matt

There is still some confusion with regards the copper pair. My current provider are insisting that the line needs to be migrated before the fiber activation date. A call to UNO sales tell me that i can only request a transfer on the activation date. I need this for work so I can not afford to lose internet connectivity.

Please advise

Thanks

We don't offer that and we have done it from the provider you have mentioned plenty of times.

They are effectively asking us to setup a line without any broadband service, something they don't offer either!

You'll just need to contact us the day your broadband is live and a phone line order can be placed at that time and will transfer across normally. This order cannot be cancelled or stopped unless you request they do that.
