We may ask for router stats or line stats when you've raised a ticket with our support team. These are also requested when opening a ticket and it's often quite useful to enter these if you are having connection issues to avoid us having to ask for them later.
The stats required relate to the broadband part of the router, so anything that references your local network (LAN) or wireless network (Wi-Fi) don't need to be included as they don't include any useful information.
We'll need the line rate, this is sometimes described as:
In addition to this, we'll need the attenuation figure. This is normally shown in dB (decibels) but may be referred to as loop loss too.
Finally, we will need the noise margin which will also be shown in dB, this can be also described as:
